About Northern Hyundai

Northern Hyundai  legacy started in 1927, when the firm’s foundation stone was laid in Rawalpindi, Pakistan.  From there on, it embarked on its journey as a premier automotive dealer with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. In the initial years, the company was a dealer of General Motors USA.  Our illustrious history began with a focus on iconic brands such as Buick, Chevrolet, and Mac trucks. Our horizons expanded from Delhi to the Northeast frontier.

However, after the partition, we shifted our base to India and in 1953, when General Motors withdrew from India, we partnered with Hindustan Motors and became the trusted dealer for Ambassador, Contessa, and the Mitsubishi range of cars in Punjab.

Growth Journey and Our Footprints

Soon, we started expanding our base in India. In 1998, we became the Mitsubishi dealer in Jalandhar, and later, in 2002, we inaugurated our Hyundai Ludhiana Branch. Building on our success, we welcomed Hyundai into our esteemed portfolio in 2012, further solidifying our commitment to offering customers the best in automotive innovation and performance.

In 2022, we inaugurated our Hyundai dealership in Jagroan. Today, Northern Motors stands tall as a leading and trusted dealer of some of the best automotive brands in the world.
